1.Project overview
Hengshui Lake, located in Hengshui City, is the only route for the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion project. It is also the only nature reserve in the North China Plain that maintains intact wetland ecosystems such as marshes, waters, tidal flats, meadows and forests.
2.Sources of pollution
The eutrophication and pollution of water body are serious due to the slow water flow speed and long water body renewal time. The overall water quality is good, but with a lot of non-point source pollution and water replenishment discharged into the water body in winter, there are still micro-pollution problems. The problems of permanganate index, total phosphorus and so on exceed the standard exist in hengshui Lake national examination section.
3.Governance objectives
Total phosphorus index reach the surface water Ⅲ class (less than 0.05 mg/L).
4.Control measures

Water quality index curve
In order to verify the water quality changes within the scope of the equipment, Hebei Huapu Environmental Testing Co., Ltd. was commissioned to conduct on-site sampling and testing at different distances from the equipment on March 16, 2020. The testing data showed that the water treatment effect within the effective radius of the equipment was significant. Test points 1, 2 and 4 are located within 500m of the operation of the equipment, while test points 3, 5 and 6 are located outside 500m of the operation of the equipment. The no. 1 test point is the section of the national examination in the center of the Lake. No. 2 detection point is the placement point of "equipment"; Detection point No. 4 is the placement point of "equipment"; Test point No. 5 is the entrance to the lake.
